The managing director of SyMO-Chem is dr.ir. H.M. Janssen. SyMO-Chem is owned by the TU/e Holding BV, a holding company that aims at promoting the uses of facilities, knowledge and expertise present within the Eindhoven University of Technology.

SyMO-Chem has commissioners that advise the company. Drs. B.P. (Ben) Hiddinga is the head of these commissioners, he is director of the TU/e Holding BV. Prof.dr. E.W. Meijer (head of the Laboratory of Macromolecular and Organic Chemistry research group), prof.dr. Jos Put (Science Manager, DSM Research) and drs. Eugène Bernard are the other commissioners and advisors.
