Thermal analysis

Thermal characterization of materials can be performed by means of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) analysis using a TA-Q2000. The available temperature range spans from -85 oC to 250 oC/. In standard measurements, ramps of 10 oC/min up to 40 oC/min are applied, although of course other conditions are possible upon request. With this technique the melting, crystallization and glass transition temperatures can be assessed, thus thermally characterizing polymers, compounds or (LC)-materials.
