Controlling the dynamics of assembly

Recently, the work of Maarten Pouderoijen helped to control the self-assembly kinetics of mono- and bivalent ureidopyrimidinone-based monomers in aqueous solutions. The findings may be useful in biomaterial hydrogels and have been published in Chemical Communications by S.I.S. Hendrikse et al (TU/e group of prof. E.W. Meijer) under the title “Controlling and tuning the dynamic nature of supramolecular polymers in aqueous solutions“. Find more information here.
